Confidence Is Sexy
What I hear most from people who want to have a boudoir session but hesitate to book right away is "I don't know how to look sexy" or "I don't know how to pose like those models." Well, I'm here to tell you that it's not your job to know these things, nor would I ever expect my clients to know. It's a photographers job to direct the client into each pose then coach for emotion and facial expression. I have been shooting boudoir photography for almost 8 years now and I have a ton of experience and expertise in posing, lighting, coaching for expression, setting the mood, and creating a stress free boudoir experience.
The girl next door
My clients are everyday women like yourselves...the girl next door, layers, nurses, teachers, mothers, and other professionals, none with modeling experience. Clients just want to look and feel beautiful, inside and out and walk away from the experience with gorgeous images of themselves. I hope to give them something more than what they were expecting: confidence, self-acceptance, empowerment, and self-love. As a boudoir photographer, it is my responsibility to guide you...even if it means getting down on the floor with you and demonstrating each pose!
I'm so in love with the images from this session. The black and white really accentuates the powerfulness of the images while the simplicity captures the focal point and beauty of my client. I could definitely see several of these images hanging as wall art in my clients home, above a bed, dresser or vanity.
