{A:} The most popular package starts at $1375 and includes; a 2 hour photo shoot with Catherine, professionally styled hair and makeup, 2 outfit changes, image retouching, an 8" x 8" black vegan leather album with 15 images, and champagne and gourmet chocolates. {Q:} Do you offer payment plans?

{A:} Yes! Monthly payments are available upon request. We will hold onto your order for processing until your order is paid in full. Please let us know if you need to spread your investment over a few months.

{Q:} How far in advance should I book?

{A:}  We recommend booking your session at least 6 weeks in advanced from when you'll be needing your products by.

{Q:} How and when do I get to select my favorite images?

{A:} At your photo reveal appointment approximately 1 week after your photo shoot. Catherine prefers this method over online proofing sites for several reasons. Safety and security...knowing no one has access to your images expect us is peace of mind. Secondly, with so many gorgeous images to choose from, it can be a little overwhelming for some clients to decide which images would look best in an album or hang as wall art.  Catherine is here to help guide you in the photo selection process by doing side by side comparisons to get the best selections.  Lastly, we love having our clients come back to see their images for the first time and seeing their reactions! It's the icing on the cake.

{Q:} How long after my session will I receive my products?

{A:}  After your photo reveal and ordering appointment (approximately 1 after your photo shoot), it will take another 2-3 weeks for lab processing and shipping before you receive your product.

{Q:} Can I bring a friend with me to my photo shoot?

{A:} Absolutely. If you're feeling nervous and would benefit the support of a bff, then by all means bring them. However, we ask that they do not interfere with the shoot and refrain from jumping in to "fix" something, or direct you in anyway while on set and being photographed. Please do not bring more than one friend with you to your session.  If you are planning to bring your boyfriend, husband, or other male friend, they will not be permitted in the room while shooting.

{Q:} Do you provide hair and makeup services?

{A:} Yes, Catherine works with an amazing team of stylists, and having your hair and makeup done by a licensed professional will greatly enhance the experience and over quality of your photos…you’ll love being pampered too! This is your time to sit and relax as you prepare for your shoot. We are very selective, so rest assure you will love your hair and makeup.

{Q:} What should I bring to my shoot? Do you supply wardrobe?

{A:} While we don’t supply wardrobe, we do have some lingerie and other wardrobe pieces and accessories that you are welcome to use. Each piece is hand washed or dry cleaned after each use. Once your session is booked, Catherine will send you a welcome guide with a list of places to shop for lingerie and what to bring with you to your shoot. Plan to bring 3-4 outfits with you. For additional wardrobe ideas, go to Mia Boudoir's Pinterest page. We will also provide you with a lingerie guide once your session is booked.

{Q:} I have a little problem area about by body is there anything you can do?

{A:} Regardless of age or body type, Mia Boudoir offers all women an incredible experience and opportunity to commission their own collection of stunning, modern boudoir portraits. With Catherine's 10 years of experience and expertise, she will guide and demonstrate each pose, and photograph you in ways that exemplify and flatter your best features.

Most women are self-conscious about at least one area of their body, whether it be stretch marks from having kids, cellulite on their butt, or scars from when you were younger.  There are many ways we can handle these little imperfections with wardrobe choice, posing, lighting, and retouching. When it comes to retouching, we will not completely change the shape of your body or figure. The liquify tool is used sparingly to fix wardrobe imperfections such as digging into the skin, and parts of the body (arms/legs) being pressed against. To view before and after retouched images click here.

{Q:} My skin is pale, should I go tanning or get a spray tan before my session?

{A:} We do not recommend either, honestly.  While a tan might make you feel more confident, it will do not make you better in a boudoir portrait. Furthermore, tan lines are difficult to blend in or fade.  Sunbathing also produces uneven skin tones.

{Q:} Will my images be shown on your website or in your studio?

{A:} The images shown on my website, social media, and in-studio displays are shown with the client’s written permission. We fully respect and understand the privacy of our clients, and your images will not be used in anyway to market or promote Mia Boudoir without your written consent.

{Q:) I can’t make my shoot date, can I reschedule?

{A:} Absolutely. we understand that things come up or a date no longer works for you and we are happy to make that change for you. However, we will need at least 4 days notice via email to reschedule.

{Q:} Where is your studio located?

{A:} My studio is located in Plymouth Michigan at my residence.  For safety and privacy, only clients who have booked will receive my home studio address.

{Q:}  Do you photograph men?

{A:} NO. I'm happy to give you a referral to someone who may. My expertise is photographing women and helping them fell good about themselves.

{Q:} I have a question that isn’t listed above…

{A:} If your questions haven't been answered here, please feel free to contact me at MiaBoudoir@gmail.com or call 734-634-1139, I am more than happy to speak with you on an individual basis.
