A look back at Mia Boudoir 2014

What a year it’s been! I think about where I started last January and how far I’ve come on this journey in just 12 months. The goals I set for my business have far exceeded my expectations and I couldn’t be more grateful. 2014 was a transformational year where my business went through a major overhaul. For starters, I changed the name of my business from Catherine Constantine Portrait to Mia Boudoir…which I absolutely love. Secondly, I spent countless hours sitting in front of the computer redesigning my website, giving it a whole new look and feel. My intentions were set on creating an image and brand that was a true a reflection of my soul…sophisticated, elegant, and classy. My goal was to create an amazing experience from beginning to end by providing a luxury service to each of my clients that made them look and feel amazing.

September was a pivotal month for me. I flew out to Kanas City to be monitored by another professional boudoir photographer, Petra Herrmann, who learned shortly after my visit that she has breast cancer. I’m so grateful to Petra, as she shared her wisdom and experience with me, without holding back. I truly believe it’s because of Petra my business is set for take off. She taught me all the in’s and out’s of her boudoir business and shared with me some amazing posing tips! She’s an amazing person and friend, and I wish her all the best as she confronts her worst fears. She will be in my heart and prayers as she battles and wins the fight against breast cancer.

Here’s a look back on some of the beautiful woman I had the great privilege photographing this past year!
